Vectorworks License Certificate Invalid or Modified Error

Vectorworks License Certificate Invalid or Modified Error

If you install a licensed Vectorworks product on a machine after a trial version expired, this leaves the various license files from the trial on your system. During the 30 day trial, it's possible to add full license details through the application - however, once the trial has expired and will no longer run, this becomes more difficult.

If you have installed Vectorworks with a newly purchased license but are experiencing an error when trying to authorise your Vectorworks license, you will need to follow the instructions to remove files left by the trial version. If you know you have previously used a trial version but haven't yet installed your commercial license, we recommend following these steps before proceeding with your installation.

Vectorworks Expired License - instructions on how to remove trial files in order to complete a commercial install.

Upgrade from Vectorworks Trial to professional - If your trial has not yet expired, please follow these instructions.
