Vectorworks and bluebeam users (and non bluebeam users) can now easily collaborate within Vectorworks using the Bluebeam Cloud.
This will allow users to design in Vectorworks and then have a collaborative space to mark up and review the plans in real time.
To get started open your Vectorworks file and head to Tools > Bluebeam Connection…
You will be asked to log in to your Bluebeam account.
Important – You will need a subscription to Bluebeam to create a session and invite other users. However those other users will not need a subscription to be able to join and mark up.
When creating a new session there are options to invite users and set their permissions right away but this can be done later if preferred.
Next click 'Publish New...' and now the file is availble in the bluebeam cloud.
To go right there click ‘Edit in browser’ for the easiest route to start editing. For a more detailed guide on what this can do, check out the video below.
