Issues with texturing in KeyShot

A missing texture/label can mean one of three things:

 1.        You may be trying to open a scene (.bip) file on a computer lacking the necessary texture files.  In this case, it is better to use a package file.  To save a package file go to File > Save Package.  Name your package file, save it.  The package file contains all the necessary information including image files.

 2.        Sometimes you see the texture/label thumbnail listed under the Textures/Label tab, but you still don’t see the texture on your model.  This may be due to an extremely small mapping scale.  To increase the mapping scale, go to the textures tab under the project window, select the texture thumbnail that you wish to  scale and drag the scale slider to the right.  You can also enter a larger scale value in the white box.

 3.        Material linking plays a role in the position of labels also.  When dealing with labels, you will often want to unlink materials.  We’ll go over unlinking materials later on.
