Upgrading ZBrush

Now that Zbrush is only offering subscriptions any new users will have the opportunity to upgrade as and when they release new features and updates. 

In the Maxon App this is often just an update button. You can have multiple versions of ZBrush installed on a machine so while new versions get their first few hot fixes you can keep the older version until you have completely settled into the newer version. 



Any Issues 
During this process if you run into any issues then you can attempt to manually download the software and install by right clicking and ‘Run as Administrator’.
But also do report any bugs that occur and, if you have the time, see how you can recreate the bugs as this can help other users and the developers!


ZBrushCore
If you are a ZBrushCore user and looking to switch to the full ZBrush then simply cancel that subscription and then purchase either a ZBrush or a Maxon One licence.

Maxon One subscriptions also include the RedShift GPU where ZBrush only includes the CPU
