Installing Vectorworks

For installing Vectorworks you will need to get the download from the customer portal here : https://customers.vectorworks.net/downloads

If you need an older version of Vectorworks this can also be requested from this page.




For Mac

Once you have downloaded the .DMG from the portal open it and click on the Vectorworks installer.



For Windows

Once you have downloaded the Zip folder you will need to unzip the folder and then right-click the installer and select 'Run as administrator'



After this there will be a pop up box with some agreements and you will be asked for your serial number which can be found under Licences in the customer portal.

The following window allows you to alter the directory that Vectorworks will be installed in. We recommend that you DO NOT change this setting. (Note: On Windows this default location should be C:/Program Files)






Once everything has been agreed and the install has completed you will be asked to log into the portal to verify a connection and then you are done and can start using Vectorworks!
