After purchasing a subscription of Vectorworks head to the customer portal and you will be prompted to download the newest version of Vectorworks.

On this page you also have a few options to help you out. The first is the system requirements. With new versions there are usually new requirements, whether that’s an operating system update or needing a stronger graphics card. Vectorworks themselves gives a deeper dive into this and multiple levels for those who want the most from Vectorworks all the way to the low end to get up and running, if you want something slightly simpler then fell free to visit our page for a more condensed version. 

Sometimes these new requirements just cannot be met, which is okay as Vectorworks allows access to the last three versions which in most cases will be enough to get you running. In the Licences tab of the Customer portal there is a handy button to ‘request additional versions of Vectorworks’. Once you have generated the old key you can either download from that same page or back on Downloads, enter the key, and download from there.
