Draftsight Enterprise Could Not Obtain a Licence After Renewal

When renewing traditional Draftsight licences the key is extended and the user does not require any further steps to continue use. However SNL or Enterprise licences are set up slightly differently and require a manual update after renewing. 

Update the Server App

To do this open the SolidNetWork Licence Manager and go to the Server Administration tab. Here click Reactivate (or Modify depending on the version) and select the licences that have been renewed or All if you renewed all licences. 

If you're using a DSLS licence you may need a new .Lic file which would be sent by Dassault directly. Once you have this file go to the DSLS Administration tool, connect to your server and enrol the new licence. 

If the issue continues?

  1. If the issue continues confirm that the Licence server is newer or the same release as your Draftsight version.
  2. Restart the Licence servers or your machine (after following the above to renew the licence)
  3. Double check your Firewalls still allow the proper connections. For this please reach out to your IT team as well as the support team here.
